Branding and Wayfinding
Branding
Manohar Gardens, a peaceful residential colony in Nashik, Maharashtra, is home to 65 houses and was seeking a comprehensive branding and wayfinding solution. The goal was to create a clear and cohesive identity for the colony, ensuring each house is easy to locate with distinct markers and signage. This will not only improve navigation for residents and visitors but also enhance the overall aesthetic and functionality of the community.

Wayfinding
For the signages, there were 4 types of signage required:
-
Full Maps at both the entrances of the colony
-
Directional Signages within for specific directions
-
Gate Signage to signify which entrance you're entering from
-
House Numbers to be attached in front of all houses

Full Maps
Positioned at both entrances of Manohar Gardens, the full maps provide a comprehensive visual representation of the entire colony. Each of the six blocks is uniquely colour-coded, allowing residents and visitors to easily locate any house by referring to both block and house numbers. These maps serve as a primary navigation tool, helping newcomers orient themselves and quickly identify their destination within the colony.

Gate Signages
Installed at each entrance of the colony, the gate signage clearly identifies which entry point is being used, helping them get their bearings and navigate the colony from the very beginning. This clear identification at the entry gates enhances the overall user experience by making orientation straightforward from the moment of arrival.

Directional Signages
Spread across key points within the colony, directional signages are designed to provide clear, step-by-step guidance towards specific blocks and houses. By using a combination of arrows and block colours, these signs ensure that visitors can navigate through the colony with ease, reducing confusion and making movement more intuitive. The signs are crucial for guiding both vehicular and pedestrian traffic in an organised manner.

House Numbers
Each house in the colony is fitted with a clearly visible house number, colour-coded to correspond with its respective block. This system not only makes house identification faster and more accurate but also contributes to the overall aesthetic of the colony by maintaining visual consistency. The colour-coded house numbers reinforce the block identification system and ensure that visitors can quickly recognise and locate the house they are looking for.
